LODGE A COMPLAINT
As EU Citizens you have a number of remedies and rights under the GDPR. If you are not happy with the way a member is dealing with your personal data or you would like to make a specific request about your personal data, then we are here to help you. We act for our members to meet GDPR Compliance, so your request or complaint to us, is the same as a request or complain to the member directly. The major difference is that it is our job to understand your rights and make sure that the controller and processor act accordingly. Asking us to help you resolve an issue or make the things that you want to happen is what we are all about, so follow the steps below to get the help and outcome that you are looking for.
STEP 1 - Tell us what you would like to do?
Tell us about your issue with the controller or processor. You will need to provide a detailed timeline of requests and events, so that we can talk to the controller or processor with authority. We may spend some time discussing your complaint with you, so we are very clear what this issue is, and the outcome that you would like to resolve it.
STEP 2 - We will manage your complaint with the controller or processor
Once we have passed your complaint to the controller or processor, we will work with them to achieve your resolution. This will be done in a timely and professional manner. Once we have a resolution, we will advise you of the outcome.
STEP 3 - What if you're not satisfied with the resolution?
When we advise of the outcome, if you are not totally satisfied, we will advise you on the next steps that you can take. This will include a formal complaint to the Supervisory Authority and asking them to provide a resolution.
